Marian Elizabeth Pieh (Root)

Age 92, formerly of the North Side, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Wellsburg, WV. Marian was born in Pittsburgh on November 24, 1931. She is the daughter of the late Edwin Francis Root and Olive May (Horne).

She is the beloved mother of three daughters, Ruby Ralicki (Jack), Cindy Woods (Mark) and Vicky Wanner (George). Also, three grandchildren, Talia and Jack Ralicki and Regina Raiders, and three great grandchildren, Parker, Grace and Faith Gresh.

She was a member of Evangel Temple (formerly Evangelistic Temple) and was in good standing with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

She will be laid to rest in Union Dale Cemetery. Arrangements by the Rex T. Smith Funeral Home, North Side.
