Loretta Gordon of Ross Township departed this world on August 21, 2023 to be with the Lord whom she faithfully served during her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosie Lee Williams, her brother Michael Perry, and her husband of 55 years Alexander H. Gordon II. Loretta leaves to cherish her memory her son David, daughter Ellen (Eric) Allen, most treasured grandson Xavier Allen, sister-in-law Karon Wright, nephews Michael Perry Jr., Lovell Harris, nieces Jennifer Luckett, Janette Allen and Mary Wright. Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 25th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Rex T. Smith Funeral Home, 2860 Perrysville Avenue, North Side. The celebration of life will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 26th beginning promptly at 10 am. A very special thank you to the staff at Cheswick Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, The UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, The Bridge Cancer Ministry, Elder and Evangelist Carr, the Sister to Sister Global Outreach Ministries and Shekinah Tabernacle Church.
