Obituary For James William Mullin
Age 48, of Brighton Heights, more recently Altoona PA.
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we mourn the loss our beloved Jimmy, who left this world far too soon, leaving a void in our lives that can never be filled.
Jimmy valued his relationships with family and friends and made sure they knew they were loved and appreciated. His friendly demeanor, thoughtfulness, humility, gentle spirit, and unique sense of humor made him truly special. Jimmy was loving, kind-hearted, and brought fun and laughter to everyone in his life. He wanted to lift you up and see you smiling. A long-time proud bald man, lifelong fan of 70s yacht rock, Jimmy loved sports, road trips, concerts, comedy, dogs, dancing (he “had more moves than a bucket of worms”), and most of all spending time with his friends.
Jimmy was a devoted son, and a loving brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. He was preceded in death by his sister Beth. He is survived by his parents Jim and Kim Mullin, his sister Jamie Mullin, brother Dan Mullin and Dan’s wife Sarah, nieces Courtney and Maggie, and great-nieces Hayden and Layla. Also survived by his girlfriend Kelley McDonald, who brought much love and joy to his life over the past year, in addition to many other loving relatives and special friends.
We are forever grateful for Jimmy. He will be missed, cherished, and remembered always.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Rex T. Smith Funeral Home, North side.
